SOUND and MIND IN SOUND BODY

It has been discovered that there is a drawing power of the mind. “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind”. II Timothy 1:7. Your mind can become a favourable abode of faith if only it is dominated by positive mental attitude.

        You are continually attracting to yourself, from both the seen and the unseen sides of life influences and condition corresponding with the type of thought you most habitually allow to take form in your mind. Faith can also be described as this drawing power of the mind which confesses into physical existence the resources of the spiritual realm. Faith transforms the ordinary vibration of good thought into spiritual equivalent which become a reality in your life.

        Faith is the operation of the thought forces in the form of an earnest desire, coupled with expectation as to its fulfilment. When your good thought is mixed with faith, it begins immediately to translate into the physical equivalents.

        Ability to receive your reality is anchored on your great expectation for fulfilment. In the degree that faith, the earnest desire thus send out, is continually held to and watered by firm expectation, in just that degree does it either draw to itself or does it change from the unseen into the visible, from the spiritual into the physical material that for which it is sent.

POWER OF WORDS – CONFESSION – THINKING AND FAITH.

  You possess the innate ability to shape and reshape reality through the power of faith in the words. A great man of God say “what you think, you express in words; and your words bring about in your life and affairs whatever you put into them”. Therefore, your state of mind – what you believe and confess will eventually produce a corresponding reality whether good or bad.  Psalms 19:14 says “let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O lord my strength and my redeemer”

MENTAL ATTITUDE, CONFESSION AND FAITH

The working presupposition of positive confession is

that your mental attitude determines what you believe and confess. And frankly, to be candid with you, what you believe and confess determine what you get from God. Your mental attitude affects your confession and belief.

A great man of God said “what you believe is a result of your thinking”.  The Bible says “…..whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report, if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think of these things”.  “Philippians 4:8. If you think wrong thinking you will believe wrong – if you believe wrong, your confession will be wrong. That means what you say will be wrong and it will all hinge on your thinking. The Bible says “commit thy work unto the and thy thought shall be established” Proverb 16:3. Even God has a good thought toward you. In Jeremiah 29:11, the Bible says “For I Know the thoughts that I think toward you said the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end”. The Bible seriously warns you about bad and wrong thinking. In IPet. 3:10, it says “He that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile”.

FAITH AND POSITIVE CONFESSION

One of the formula of obtaining results from the power of faith is your ability to say the word. And undoubtedly, positive confession is the most distinctive aspect of faith. The most popular saying about faith is that “what you confess, you possess. You have to declare with your mouth what you believe because the Bible says “with your mouth thy shall be condemned and with your mouth thy shall be justified” Matthew 12:37. The importance of confession can never be overemphasized. The Bible says this about confession and your salvation, “if thou confess with thy mouth,…… thou shall be saved” Roman 10:9. With mouth confession is made unto salvation. Confession is the key that unlocked God’s provisions and promises to you.

FAITH AS A FORMULA FOR REALITY

Men of God have received the revelation that “if anybody who is a believer anywhere will take these steps and put into operation, he will always receive whatever he wants from God the father”. Formula as used here simply means set form of words setting forth principle, method or rules for doing, producing something. These formulas are:

Ø    Ability to say the word

Ø    Ability to do or act on the word because faith is an            action.

Ø    Ability to receive it with great expectation

Ø    Ability to tell it.

Remember, the world was created by God speaking the word and calling into being everything that is. The bible says “………..Calleth those things which be not as though they were” Romans 4:17. The nature of faith is such that God is a faith God because he had faith that his words would bring forth creating ex-nihilo (out of nothing). The power of word was shown clearly in Matthew 8:8 “….but speaks the word only and my servant shall be healed.” In Psalm 107:20, the bible says “He sent his word and healed them and delivered them from their destruction.”

THE NATURE OF FAITH THAT CAN PERFORM MIRACLES IN YOUR LIFE

God is God of faith and you must of necessity be a man of faith because you are created in the image of God. Gen1:27. The nature of faith is force. Faith is an action. And this force is available for anybody who knows the formula and spiritual laws and how to control the force. These formula and law are called “faith”. There is power in faith. And since faith is inexhaustible, the power is exhaustible. Faith is the principal chemist of your spirit. And when you blend faith with the vibration of good thought, the reality of your desire become inevitable.

HOW TO HAVE FAITH IN GOD

It is very important for you to develop your faith because without faith, it is impossible for you to please God Heb.11:6. To please God, you must learn how to cultivate, develop and nourish your faith so that it can bring you amazing results & miracles. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Heb.11:1)

          “Have faith in God even when thy way be lonely……….” says a song. Have faith even when there is no remote possibility of the ……………… Without string faith in God, you cannot have faith in yourself. To have faith in your own faith is to have faith in the innate abilities of your spirit to perform miracles. Did you ever stop to consider about having faith in your own faith. Nothing is impossible for the man who knows the power of faith. Remember, God spoke the word, and it took on forms and He spoke the word and the world was created. The Bible says, “And God said let there be light and there was light” Gen.1:3. The worlds were framed by the word of God – Heb.11:3. You need to have faith in your own words. To have faith in your own words is to have faith in your faith. To get things from God you have to learn to have faith in your faith. And to have faith in your own foundation is to have faith in God. Your belief about faith tells exactly the kind of God you believe. The Bible says without faith, it is impossible to please God. And no obstacle is too great to hurdle for faith.
